Hi i am very interested in rocketry and i own a few rockets. I recently got the idea to try to make the "XFLR-7" wich appeared in one of the tintin comics and is sometimes called the moon rocket. So what im asking is does any of you got plans for this model .

I believe this is the rocket, for those not familiar with the design. I wasn't, and did a quick GOOGLE to find something. This comes from an Australian rocketry forum: XFLR-7 Image

You could probably start with the nose and tail cones from a V-2, as most of these 1950s designs usually did. That would make it a BT-55 size.

thank you very much for this information it will be of a big use for me.

There's a scale diagram in the Spaceship Handbook.

I made one from BMS BT-55 "V2" parts. Despite the big swept-back fins, it's going to need noseweight.

Right now it has a coat of white paint. I'm kind of intimidated by the checkerboard pattern. It's going to either require careful masking or careful application of trim monokote.
