Eric, Actually, I have no idea who those guys are. I think those pics are either from NARAM-13 or NARAM 14 ? Dave F. |

That’s Larry Brown the Director Enerjet Programs and the flyer is Bobby Del Principe taken at NARAM-14 in Seattle. Enerjet logged record flights at NARAM-14 an interesting read is here: https://www.oldrocketplans.com/pubs...72/Sep_1972.pdf Larry Brown is also pictured in this Enerjet brochure that Earl posted to the forum also holding a Pterodactyl glider in the cover photo: https://www.forums.rocketshoppe.com...?t=18261&page=1 Enerjet Rules .....

I saw that a 3-ENERJET CLUSTER was flown at NARAM-14, in the Manufacturers Demo. Since THREE E24's would have been 120 Nt-Sec and THREE F67's would have been 240 Nt-Sec , how did the NAR allow that much Total Impulse to be flown, in 1972, when the Maximum Total Impulse was only 80 Nt-Sec. ? Did ENERJET create HPR, in 1972 ? http://www.aeropac.org/Newsletters/Spring_2019.pdf Dave F. Last edited by Ez2cDave : 07-26-2020 at 05:00 PM. |

https://www.oldrocketplans.com/pubs...73/Jan_1973.pdf I’m not sure what the rules were for the Enerjet demonstration flights at NARAM-14 but this wasn’t a model rocket. Many were flying motors and clusters of motors beyond model rocketry defined limits prior to NARAM-14. One of my favorite YORF threads on early Enerjet flights such as this was posted by Jerry Irvine here and also includes specifics for the Enerjet G76 that wasn’t posted in any of the Enerjet literature that I’ve seen (see post #2): https://www.oldrocketforum.com/showthread.php?t=15317 The only images of an Enerjet 2250 in flight that I have ever seen are also documented in this thread where Jerry flew his on three FSI F100-10’s (see post #17).
