Looks like a great day of flying some neat birds.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Nice launch report, Don. I had ideas about flying over the weekend, but I was sick from Tuesday on. Vacation started on Wednesday, so I didn't miss any work. Missed a club launch on Saturday and thought I might sneak up to B6-4 Field on Monday. Winds.

I like flying on B6-4s even though we have LOTS of room. My stock is certainly dwindling....

Some nice flights on nice models. Thanks for sharing.

If I build another Boosted Bertha I will probably adopt your idea and make the booster's motor mount 24mm. Just have to maintain the venting in the centering rings to keep it together until the sustainer lights.

I have flown mine C6-0 to C6-5, but only on a really calm day. It generally gets flown B6 to B6.

I drilled holes in the centering rings to keep the venting. Didn't know if would be enough. Hindsight, balsa strips glued to the motor tube and in line with the fins (think through the wall fins). No centering rings. Would be plenty of venting.
