I actually thought that finding a loose 3" PNC would be easy. I am wrong. Is there a source for the 3" PNC that's included in the Big Daddy kit without having to raid a Big Daddy kit?

That nose cone went OOP last January, followed by the 4" DBRM nose cone.

BMS used to have a 3" 3:1 ogive PNC - but I just checked and they don't have it now.

You might try Estes from time to time - I've seen it there under the PSII accessories, though it wasn't there this morning.

I checked BMS late last night. I was surprised to see the 3” plastic nose cone gone. They still carry the 3” tube and couplers (including 34” full length couplers). They also used to have a big “School Rocket” using the 3” parts.

The BMS 3” tubing is identical in specs to the Estes 3”. The BMS 3” nose cone therefore would fit Estes tubing, but I do believe it was slightly longer.

Moot point now, but that prompted me to see if BMS still carried it.

Apogee still has a cone for thin-wall 3-inch tubing.
