To the questions re: kits.

#1 Laser X
No, the "X" doesn't stand for "10". Letter "X" just sounded good.

#2 Vector V
No, the "V" doesn't stand for "5". Letter "V" just sounded right.

As you must know, naming products often depend on how it "rings" in the ear.

I was positive it was a Vector "five" for about fifty years since the beast had 5 fins. How could it be anything else?

The man himself set me straight.
