Stellar Dimensions Avenger
Thought I'd crack open this sealed OOP kit on a rainy day. I've read through the instructions many times, and can't figure out what "T1" and "T2" are. I can account for all other parts shown in the instructions. Seems like I'm missing some parts, and have extra parts. I think I have duplicate panels (the 2 on the right), instead of 2 different panels. I could cut new T1/T2 pieces, but don't have anything to go by, other than the instructions. These appear to be shoulders of the NC and payload section to connect the 3 sections together.
The instructions are here: https://plans.rocketshoppe.com/sdi/sdi203/sdi203.htm I've attached a photo of kit parts, minus recovery system. Has anyone built one of these, or have an open bag to look at the parts?

You seem to have one sheet missing.
If you cannot find it then PM me and I will send you a scan.

That's it! It all makes sense now, I'll PM my email, thanks! I can use my duplicate sheet for the 2 long pieces, they look the same except for the etching. The T1/T2 pieces should be easy enough to manually cut out. I wonder if that's why these kits were selling for cheap...

I built three other Stellar Dimensions kits.
They strike me as being rather fragile, especially around the engine retainer disc area. Haven't flown any yet though.

Thanks to a scan from Gary, and a trip to the LHS for 1/16" basswood, I now have 4 of the missing "T1" and "T2" pieces. Though they seem like simple pieces, I'm having the darnest time getting them exactly rectangluar. Guess I'm spoiled by laser cut sheets.
Anyhow, it's ready to start building, just need to decide how I want to finish it ahead of time. I like the idea of using translucent sharpies, so the cool etching shows through. Perhaps I can sharpie the pieces, glue together, then seal with some Deluxe Materials Sand 'n Seal. Some experimentation is in order.

Sharpies might be a little too dark.
Highlighters worked better for me in letting the laser cut details come through.

Thanks - I have a set of 4 fluorescent Sharpie Highlighters, plan to give those a try.

I tried my set of regular & highligher sharpies, and decided on light green and magenta, it seemed to give the best 2 color contrast. I made the mistake of a very light fine-grit sanding of the surfaces. While it did smooth them out a bit, it also reduced the laser etching. Oh well, it's certainly different than a typical build!
