Are you quoting what the actual scale length should be? My kit was spot on at 16", but there may have been a little paint build up at the aft end.

I took the information from Peter Always book and did some arithmetic and came out with
15.927.

But I'm not perfect. I just play one on the internet.

If I ever get around to building another one with scale fins, I'll have to shave off 0.073" off the BT!

I’d shave off about 0.078”, since you’ll likely want to allow room for some paint buildup...
