I believe that listing has been active for over a year now.

I think it's BS, because he's been selling items out of that pile for over a year.

Another Scrambler. Don't know how much of 'deal' it will wind up being...the most recent one went for almost $150 just a day or so ago.

Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3341401535...AAOSwBKthN6z R

Not my listing nor do I know the seller.

Doesn't look like anyone is scrambling to get in an early bid.

I bought another in the last year off ebay and I know I paid under $90.
Seems like it was $86.

Yeah, these things run funny sometimes, though this one has just been listed starting today I believe.

I think for a number of items, potential bidders, knowing full well they are going to bid at some point towards the end, just 'watch' the item. Then, as we all have seen many times, in the last few seconds an item can go from like $30-$40 (where it has sat for a number of days) to $200-$300 or more.

I think it is the psychology of "Oh, not really interested in bidding too very much for that item" for most of the time it is active to truly showing their real intent in the last few seconds.

This Scrambker is being sold by Eric Higgins of the vintageestes Rocket website. He has tons of kits, he’ll be posting more…..

Just confirmed what I paid for a sealed MIB one almost exactly a year ago.
$84.
I wouldn't pay over $100 and that is one of my all time favorite Estes kits.
