Default Long time no paint

I've been in a painting frenzy lately of rockets I built yet never painted. (Not sure why my phone is suddenly taking crappy pictures, I'm suspecting the new IOS).

Here is an Estes Photon Disruptor

Vintage Estes Scissor Wins Transport. I goofed on the main cabin decals for the windows, wrong side and too far back. They were the first decals on and these decals were really unforgiving, once they were down, they were down, no chance to reposition, so I had to go with it. Still came out okay. Gave this one a super light one coat of paint.

I’m a big fan of the Quest 50mm Tube and nose cone. Being cheap, I ordered these parts, plus centering rings, from Quest. Pretty cheap — around $10. And, I painted my scratch-built model metallic black with a metallic purple nose cone. Very similar.

Those look awesome! I really like the metallic black. My purple is the Krylon Shimmer Metallic.
