Orbital Transport Build Completed
Hi, Folks,
Just put the final touches on a long-running scratch-built Orbital Transport project. I started work on this one in 2018. I'm kinda slow! More details and pictures at this link to the ol' blog: https://castlerocketeer.blogspot.co...-transport.html

That really turned out well! If you hadn’t said it was a scratch build, I don’t think anyone would have known.
Don’t feel badly about your construction timeline. I’ve got several that are sitting at 6-7 years and still in primer. Others that are at 2-3 years. I probably have 10-12 builds going at any one time and sometimes I have issues weather wise with getting optimal opportunities for painting (high humidity primarily). When that is the case, I press on with another build and wind up with a ‘paint finishing’ backlog. I suspect I’m probably not the only one who suffers from that. Earl

Thanks!
I'm happy to learn that I am not the only one who takes long build times.

I have a Semroc 1/70 Saturn 1B that has been 85% done since about 2007.
