Default Chauncey the Cougar

Chauncey the Cougar.
I was watching rerun of TSMDM.
Chauncey the Cougar was the star of the episode.
It brought back memories of other roles Chauncey played.
The Ford Motor Company had Chauncey as a mascot.
I remember seeing Chauncey on a John Denver Special once in 1975.
I saw my first dead cougar in Florida in 1996 om a visit to KSC. So sad.
I saw several dead cougars in my years living in Florida.
I got to see one live one near my home in SW Florida.
It was an exciting time for me.
I think they are on the endangered list.

The Florida panther (cougar) was considered a subspecies for a long time, but I think they have done away with that. There are probably less than 100 now unless they've been able to repopulate.

We've started seeing cougars in West TN again on game cams. It is thought that they are just passing through, not taking up residence.

BTW, Texas seems to have plenty of them. They are classed as a nuisance animal there.

Last year, a cougar was sighted on a game cam here in New Hampshire.
NH Fish and Game were very excited to see this.
They said it came from the Midwest.

I guess it was three years ago for the cougar sighting.

Yes, that's where the TWRA think ours were traveling from. They said they are starting to repopulate the Midwest and that their ventures into TN were probably exploratory, but not permanent.

We have Cougars here in Michigan, but not in great numbers.
A few years back one got swatted by a car traveling north on US-23 just north of Oscoda.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !
