Jim, I forgot to mention, big names are great in vinyl, like my Dishonest John.

Excellent looking models. Yes I've used the Krylon uv stuff also. I missed that in your HoJo post that you used the, flat to gloss, back to flat trick for the waterslides

I got the decals on yesterday, and matte clear-coated today.

The decals felt very thick when I slid them off the backing paper. Almost like clear vinyl sticker material. Numerous applications of MicroSol softened them a little, but the edges did not lay perfectly flat. Since this one will fly, I am not too concerned that it’s not a pristine display piece. From 5+ feet it is hard to see any decal issues.

These decals reminded me of the Phoenix decals in a 90s-era kit I built last year. They looked clear, no signs of yellowing, but thick and a real pain to get to lay perfectly flat.

Looks great Lee! What's the final weight? Even my 24mm version ended up at 15oz, after beefing up the fins internally.

Paul, it weighs 15.75 oz. With no motor or recovery gear. Not bad, considering I substituted a heavy-wall tube, and the 3D-printed fins. The nice thing about the HoJo is that the nose cone is a bit larger diameter than body tube at their junction, so a slightly larger OD on a heavy-walled body tube does not show.

I have added no nose weight. I’ll check CG on the identical BT-60 sized model since I know it is stable. I doubt much will get added, if any.
