Default Environmental Attorney

Found out a college friend of mine that I lost contact with about 10 years ago is now an Environmental Attorney of all things. Eyes ROLLING
Ran into this person at a local watering hole.
I told them that could be a very interesting profession as long as doing it from the standpoint of AGAINST enviro-WHACKO regulation.
That went over about as well as a Bowling Ball in a Swimming Pool, which was my INTENT.

Most (99%) that identify as Environmental Attorneys favor increased regulations.
Definite room for opposite viewpoint attorneys.

I have been sick and tired of hearing about "environmental" issues since the SEVENTIES.

Actually I have no problem with environmental regulation just as long as it is no stricter than that followed by DuPont or Dow Chemical in 1957.

The biggest problem with environmental regulation is the fact that ALL bureaucracies are on a evergoing quest to expand their empires. and for the most part, Congress has gone along with this crap. As with the recent EPA CO2 emissions regulating follies, they try to read into existing laws new things to do. Luckily the courts have shut that down for now.

Trump had the right idea but making the 'crats delete at least 2 old regulations for every new one written. The CFR is so large that it is estimated that every American breaks some federal law at least 3 times a day.

If it was up to me I would de-regulate DDT and bring it back for individual home/residential non-crop use. All the trouble with DDT was caused by farm OVER usage.
We need to bring back good old-fashioned HARD pesticides the enviro-WHACKOS hate.
99% of supposed environmentalists ARE WHACKOS.

I agree. Maybe it would kill that bug that keeps crawling around Joe's posts.

Chlordane is a good'n too.
Aldrin and Dieldrin too.
Out of all the "hard" residual pesticides, DDT actually is the safest, least toxic, and least damaging to the environment when used PROPERLY.
DDVP (Vapona) is still available and is far more dangerous than DDT.
I want Diazinon back for general usage also.

Was really irritated that the previous regime controlling the EPA did none of this.
