Actually it's much rarer than a lot of vintage 60's/70's Estes kits as it was only produced 2 years.
Eventually it will get built.

There are a lot of interesting Estes kits from the 1980’s that only appeared in either one or two catalogs. Also, a lot of these are difficult to clone because of unique plastic parts.

Sirius Rocketry has cast polyurethane resin duplicates of the plastic parts used in Estes' Space Transporter America and other such short-lived kits (and not only Estes'). They are part of Sirius Rocketry's "Moldin' Oldies" line (see: https://www.siriusrocketry.biz/isho...s-and-parts-26/ ). Also, they can and do make resin duplicates of more such parts than are shown on their "Moldin' Oldies" page (they've cast them for me).

I’ve used and still have a few Moldin Oldies cones in reserve but the ones I need the most have been out of stock for a couple of years now at Sirius.

Annette Sostarich (e-mail: info@thegizmologist.com ), and known as "Space Crafter"--that's her store's name--on Ebay (see: https://www.ebay.com/str/spacecrafter ), is an experienced maker of 3D printed model rocket motor parts. I have bought several 3D printed nose cones, transition sections, and fin units (including custom-made scale ones) from her. She isn't interested in making complete model rocket kits, but she is happy to make 3D printed parts--including at volume discounts--for individuals, and for other folks who wish to make complete kits.

Default Finished the Attack Craft Orion

I finished up the first of 3 I received, the Attack Craft Orion. Great kit quality. The fins were the wrong size but I did not realize till the decals were to go on. No worries, I trimmed them and it looks great. Rick is going to send a replacement with correct size fins, which is very appreciated. Started on the Orion already. Looking forward to the Rigel-3 kits when they are ready.

I'm looking forward to that Rigel 3 kit as well.
Hope it comes sooner than later.
I may go 24mm in the Rigel 3 booster; it's big enough to be able to handle a 24mm booster and the C11 provides much more kick than anything currently available in 18mm.

, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

If you are going 24mm on the booster, go 24mm on the upper stage as well. boosters that can use a C11-0 need to either be taped the upper stage motor or vented to ensure upper stage ignition ignition.

If I go that route, it would be vented.
The Comanche-3 works fine without venting or taping and that is 24 to 18mm.
