Default Any idea who made this LJ-II kit?

This is on ebay right now. Not a Roachwerks, not a Sheri's. Interesting with laser cut tower.

Anyone know who made it?

Steve

Could it have been KosRox ? I think they made one when they were offering a 1/70 Saturn 1B.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Were they doing laser cut parts back then?

That’s the Kosrox kit. This looks like a 2nd edition - the 1st editions came with the corrugated wraps glued on. The 2nd run had the option of 1 29 mm mount, 2 24mm or 3 24 mm mounts.

Steve,

This is the Terry Kosel Little Joe II kit that I recently sold. Not all of the parts are shown as the wraps, etc are in the tube. Please note the instructions, which I scanned.

So, the scaffold is laser-cut cardstock? Even if soaked in CA it sounds kind of flimsy to hold up that PVC escape motor.

Yeah, it’s been a while since I looked at the parts but I do remember thinking I’d have to replace the scaffolding with dowels. I’ll post pics of the 2 kits when I get back from vacation later today.

Don't know about their LJII but their Sat 1B had laser cut cardstock, but the escape rocket wasn't supported by it. The escape rocket was a dowel that extended down through the scaffold and was anchored in the capsule. Basically unbreakable.
