Did you go with the standard 18mm engine mount or upgrade to 24mm ?

I stuck with 18mm, mainly because I don't get out to a lot of larger flying fields as often as I would like. Patriots turn in pretty nice flights on a C6.
Plus, I suppose I could plug in a Quest D if I wanted to go a bit higher with it. I would bet these things would scream on an E motor, or even 29mm Es and Fs!

I saw a couple of these at Hobby Lobby the other day I should have picked one up. I picked up a couple of packs of engines instead. I may go back and get one to stash.

Looks very nice. IMO the Citation Patriot is one of the best sport reintros Estes has ever had.

A Q-Jet D16 takes mine to ~650 feet give or take 25. For example: https://flightsketch.com/flights/1101/ The six second delay is a little long, the four second delay is about perfect or just a touch early. When the White Lighting D20 comes out, I'd do four seconds for sure - faster, so higher drag so lower apogee. That's a nice flight for the model.

Ben,
That is a really nice data page on your link. Do you do this with all of your flights? What altimeter do you use?
