That would be an awesome piece of historical hardware to return to earth orbit and hold at the ISS, then pass on to the next space station. Someday the first commercial/recreational space station could bring it inside for people to see. (Yes, I know it will never happen.)

It would be nice if it could be retrieved, if in fact it is still in orbit.
But even if it is not, the Apollo 10 LM ascent stage IS still out there in space, having been sent on a solar orbit after it was jettisoned. Don't know the period of its orbit, but it could possibly be a target of either rendezvous or retrieval at some future time. Earl
