Looking good.
You need to throw that "Elmer's Washable School Glue" where it belongs: in a GARBAGE DUMPSTER.

ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, AGITATION, CHAOS, TURMOIL, FIASCOS, AGGRAVATION, INSTIGATION, NUISANCE-ACTION, and HAVOC !

I just use it for couplers, where holding strength isn't an issue. It doesn't "grab" like wood glue does.

Ahh, ok.
I think I would use Regular Elmer's for that like I always have.
I would not trust that School glue crapola long-term in my humid climate.

For couplers, I don't use Titebond for the same reason. It grabs way too quickly.

Default Motor Mount and Couplers

Sanded the O.D.'s of the centering rings, then started gluing the body tube couplers. I punched some holes through the couplers to inject some wood glue to attach the couplers to the centering rings. The holes also help the glue to dry.

Default Gear Housings Fabrication

Revised the design to have 3 legs instead of 4.
Looks more spindly, which is a good thing. It was just too bulky appearing before. Now you can see the gap in the body tube and the tanks stand out better.

Cut, routed and sanded the Gear Housings and Gear Housing Spacers... and glued them together. They're clamped... due for early release in 24 hours.

I used some "baked" plywood from 1978. It's 1/4" plywood that was in an uninsulated garage here in Colorado, and saw some pretty high temperatures for 4 decades. It's got that good ole glue, and you can just tell it's superior to the stuff you buy today. It requires sanding of both sides to clean up the surfaces and smooth them down.

NOOOOOOOO !!!!!
Yeccchhhhhhh.

4 legs like Mars Lander, please.
The 3-leg configuration looks far too underwhelming.
Add COMPLEXITY, NOT simplicity.

Default Leg Fabrication

Cut, sanded and routed the Leg Subassemblies. Now it's time to glue all the pieces parts together.

I built an Outlander a few years ago. Modified it for 24mm. I have yet to fly it. Rather than a D12, I may use an E28 reload in my 24/40 RMS. I ditched the stock color scheme, and painted it aircraft gray with red legs and added ML-style Outlander decals (Tango Papa). I also added styrene bits here and there.

Shown next to my Semroc Mars Lander.

Lee-
That looks like a PROPER Outlander with the correct number of fins; FOUR.
Nice !
