That and the Tomahawk are probably the most common, even now. Maybe the Nike Patriot as well.

There is A REASON why MPC rocket kits are rare in general on ebay.

His name is at the tip of my tongue. He's a member here on YORF.

Speaking of the MPC Martial Patrol, not a terrible price if it goes for minimum bid of $69.99:

The nose cone and fin parts necessary to clone the MPC viper are on ebay currently, and would also give you the Nike Smoke nose cones, and you could get a Quest Nike K kit to convert with its fin can for the Nike Smoke.

I have this fin unit minus the top ring, and there's a possibility that it will eventually turn up. Not sure how I'd manage to recreate the saucers.

Possible way to recreate the saucers:

Find thin sheets of styrofoam. These are sometimes used in packing material.

Hot-wire cut a few disks. One the diameter of the original saucer, two the diameter of the "cabin."

Glue together with very light coats of Elmer's. Fix a light weight in the top middle.

They'd look blocky and crude compared to the original, of course.

You could maybe strengthen them by gluing -- watered down white glue perhaps -- a sheet of tissue on the bottom.

The Martian Patrol is one of FEW MPC designs I find interesting.
Looking great.

Did the MPC C9-3 engines referenced on the Martian Patrol box ever exist or are they Vaporware like the Enerjet 18mm D21 ?

Very good parallel. A run of them was made, given away for people to try out, but never put into production.

I seem to recall a collector posting a picture of one.
