Started building the Buzzard from scratch. If you would be so kind as to post the length of the body tube and how far down from the top of the tube the vent holes are located, I would be forever thankful.

Also, just curious, did your kit come w/the plastic slide for the wing or instructions for the 1/64'' plywood slide?

Scott: I've attached the sheet w/instructions for the the slide used to attache the fuselage to the wing. It's not included with the instructions on YORP.

The body tube is 3 7/8" in length
The slide in this kit is 1/64" plywood not plastic
the exhaust hole(s) are 1 1/2" from one end of the body tube , on each side and are 1/8" in diameter
There's 2x 12 " x 3/8" x 1/64" plywood strips
HTH

I'm eventually going to open this kit (probably sooner than later) .....and when I do, I will scan the wing/stab/rudder/etc with a ruler so future modelers will have accurate dimensions....and I will convert all the images into a single pdf that Scott can post as either a replacement for what's there now or as a additional resource.

Yeah, the tracings I sent Scott that are out on YORP were traced after I sanded them. Come to think of it, they were probably traced after I glued the darn thing together and flew it a few times...
