Default Enerjet 1340 clone

I finally got the Enerjet logo cut from vinyl for my Enerjet 1340 clone.

I have had it painted, and basicly done, since early in the year. I do not have a good inkjet printer for waterslides, and thought cut vinyl would be a nice alternative.

I found the decal file in TIFF, but trying to convert the JPG for the Cricut design software failed to load successfully. With a number of intermediate steps I was successful in cutting a clean decal.

Special thanks to Bill Eichelberger for giving me an Estes Eliminator kit in 2018 when we met at an eRockets Build Nite. My wife and I were on a road trip to Geneseo for NSL and stopped in Dayton on the way. Had a great evening with Bill and a bunch of great folks at eRockets.

Lee,

Would you mind posting the Cricut file as an attachment? I could use one for my AeroDart.

MarkB,

Here is the link to the "enerjet decal" design file. I still have not found where it is stored, such that I can give you the actual file. I made this shareable. If you know how to access the file directly, such that I could just attach to an email, please let me know!

NOTE: I checked the link, it does work.

Eric, thanks!

That is the file I started with, at least the image, but what I found was a TIFF, and the Cricut Design Space wont import TIFFs. I had issues converting to an importable SVG or JPG, so I printed it and scanned as a 300dpi JPG. A pain, but it worked.

Your image is JPG, looks cleaner. I'll try loading it and see if it works/looks better. It should.

Dave,

Thanks! I downloaded that image, and it was considerably cleaner than what I cut. Since mine was small, it looked very smooth when cut. I print this one at about 1.2" x 6", and it looked pretty clean. The one I printed before was .75" by 3.5".

I will email you. I appreciate the offer to send me the file.
