Default Mars Lander Artwork Origin

George was asking me about the origin of this art and I don't recall what website I found it on. All attempts to locate any other copy of it online has failed, so I'm posting it here to see if anyone remembers if this originated from Estes or if its fan art.

That kind of single color art has been on the Estes order form/envelope combo. I don't remember if that was where I've seen it, but I have seen it before.

The Mars Lander image was also on the Estes Aerospace Club Stationary. That might possibly be where you saw it before, especially if you were in the EAC or had one of the membership kits.

Yes, I was in the EAC. I might even have a sheet or two of that stationary in a box somewhere.

I think you are right, the art from the first post was from a corner of a mailing envelope.
It's a full blue, not the screened back lighter blue from the EAC stationary.
