New Design -- Hi-Five
With a little inspiration from the old Estes Aero-Fin, and a little from the Centuri Vector-V...
The fins are shown as one piece, but they need to be made from three pieces each. Two sections of 3/32" balsa sheet, and a length of 1/8" dowel stock. Length: 20.175" Diameter: 1.34" (Paper Transition #2) Fin Span: 8.26" Weight: 1.15 oz B4-4.......546'......Dv 18 FPS C6-5......1091'......Dv 16 FPS Both engines reach flight V on a 36" x 1/8" rod. I'll post fin and transition patterns shortly... Enjoy!

Here are the patterns...
One sheet for the LL standoff. This is 1/8" thick balsa. One required. One sheet for the main fins. This is 3/32" thick balsa. Five required. One sheet for the transitions. Cardstock. One required. The dowel stock starts as 9" lengths, but will be trimmed to fit the layout.
