Default A Place For My Stuff...

This thread is a "catcher's mitt" for those designs in the new catalog that are missing RKT files and JPG images. It's just a place-holder thread for these rockets, so it's not open for general posts or other designs. Thanks.

Exclamation 4" Rhemus

A 4" upscale of my Rhemus, created by Fore Check back on September 5, 2007.

Length: 63.75"
Diameter: 4.00" (LOC 3.9")
Fin Span: 19.39"
Weight: 62.75 oz

As designed, the model uses engine-based deployment charges instead of electronics. The simulation results below reflect this method of deployment.

I284W-10.........2924'.........Dv 21 FPS.........48" guide required
I300T-10.........2346'.........Dv 40 FPS.........48" guide required
I354FJ-10........2829'.........Dv 32 FPS.........60" guide required
I366R-10.........2814'.........Dv 29 FPS.........48" guide required

Launch lugs are not shown in the plan. Use whichever method suits your preferences.

Fin sheet patterns included (next post).

Enjoy!

Exclamation Loadmaster "A"

This was the first version of the Loadmaster, and which for some reason never got posted. It differs from the "B" version only in the nose cone. I used an elliptical cone for the "A".

Length: 18.81"
Diameter: 0.908" (ST-8)
Fin Span: 4.43"
Weight: 1.15 oz

A8-3.......232'......Dv 5 FPS
B4-4.......506'......Dv 8 FPS
C6-5......1021'......Dv 4 FPS

The B6-4 is not recommended. All engines reach safe flight V on a 36" x 1/8" launch rod. The fin sheet is the same as in the "B" version.

Enjoy!

Exclamation Pochard (2007)

Something whipped up during the "open frame fin" heydays. I have a date of January 22, 2007 for these files.

Length: 23.59"
Diameter: 0.908" (ST-8)
Fin Span: 5.90"
Weight: 1.21 oz

A10-3T......271'......Dv 11 FPS
A8-3........244'......Dv 11 FPS

These are currently the only engines recommended. The A3-4T, as well as B-C engines, have very high Dv numbers.

Requires a standard 36" x 1/8" rod.

Enjoy!

Exclamation Scarab (2003)

Another from the ancient pre-historic days of BARCLONE. January 28, 2003.

A fantasy-futuristic type of model. Works well on lower-impulse engines (A & B). Higher impulse engines produce too great a Dv.

Length: 15.75"
Diameter: 0.976"
Fin Span: 8.12"
Weight: 1.17 oz

A8-3........235'......Dv 7 FPS
A10-3T......260'......Dv 6 FPS
B4-4........525'......Dv 22 FPS

All engines reach flight V on a 36" x 1/8" rod. Best performance is with the 13mm A10, and the model might be set up with either an adapter or a fixed 13mm mount.

Enjoy!

Exclamation EVModels Interdictor Series (2006)

From April of 2006, this was a series of HPR/MPR models by EchoVictor. There are five variants included in the set, but all share the same outward appearance. The difference is in the internal arrangement of engine tubes. The number attached to each version indicates the number of and size of the engines.
  • Mk I -- 1 x 38mm
  • 224 -- 2 x 24mm
  • 324 -- 3 x 24mm
  • 424 -- 4 x 24mm
  • 518 -- 5 x 18mm

The five RKT files are included together in a single ZIP file. They are also located SOMEWHERE on YORF, but I cannot seem to locate them with a general search.

General specs:

Length: 36.55"
Diameter: 2.60" (BT-80)
Fin Span: 14.60"
Weight: Varies with each model

Enjoy!

Another simple 3FNC for 13mm engines. A "Schoolyard Sounder" with great Dv and altitude numbers.

Diameter: 0.908" (ST-8)
Fin Span: 4.06"
Weight: 0.79 oz

A3-4T......~415'......~Dv 4 FPS......36" x 1/8" launch rod
