Josie, Valerie, or Melody? Or are you into bad girls (Alexandria)?

Definitely Valerie! I like the “brainey” ones.

Wiki says it came out in 1971. There was one original season, then another season of JAPC in Space. Both of those were run and rerun on all three networks through 1976.

I was looking at that Mars Longship last night. I knew it was really familiar but just couldn't place it until now. Thanks Jeffy

How does the Mars Long ship remind you of this thing? I don't see it other then the round front end.

Well, now that I see the photo I guess the round front end is the only similarity—but bear in mind, the last time I saw that cartoon was over 45 years ago. At this point in my life I can’t remember where I put my keys down, but I can remember the front of Josie’s spaceship.

Life is funny. Memory is funnier.

That explains a lot. I was in college from 1970-75. I didn’t watch any TV, nor fly any rockets. Not sure I missed much from the lack of TV, but I missed out on some cool rockets.

In 1976 I started again. I worked at the Naval Weapons Center on Sidewinder and Shrike the base had a great hobby store, and I built an Estes Saros. I still have it, and Vern and Gleda signed it at NSL-2018 in Geneseo.
