Agreed!

FYI, If you want an accurate secant-ogive nose cone, knaeronautics will print them. Here's a 4", and I expect if you asked, he could do a 2.6":

Cost would probably be similar to the Balsa, but much tougher.

For whatever reason, or multiple reasons, the Semroc Pro kits just never materialized. Balsa, body tube supply issues, Estes releasing their upscales? I was looking forward to the larger ST-20 Orbital Transport, but it has been a long time now (a couple years at least??). The price point may have been too high. I purchased the Estes BT-55 upscale, and will just use that as template if I want to scratch a larger version.

Last time I was in the bowels of eRockets, Randy showed me the upscale (29mm) they were tweaking for production. I think with Estes issuing their upscale, Randy had to put his on hold. Now, that's just my interpretation. I don't know the actual reason you haven't seen it yet, but when you do, you will be impressed.

During the NARCON 2023 Manufacturers' Forum, Randy was asked about the status of the large Orbital Transport model. Randy replied that the person who helped him design the rocket kits had left and had yet to be replaced. Randy asked if anyone was interested in helping out to contact him.
