Speaking of the Silver Streak.... have to go hunt for plans for that one, anyone know if those are posted online someplace ?

Just got a set of decal ( chrome stickers ) for the Silver Streak, so would be a neat one to try n clone.

note- not sure the silver sticker sheet would scan in ok, but can try it - Gordy, let me know if you'd like to original to copy ?

I had thought that it had the same one as the 2026 Athena cone..... Would not that then be the same as the chromed version of the Rascal or Hijinks RTFs? (I can't remember which one was gold, which one was silver)

If I had a block of chrome I could turn one on the lathe.

The instructions are here in YORS. The challenge with them is that Etses at that time did not place part numbers on the instructions. I think from time to time you can The Silver Streak as NOS on :

http://www.modelrockets.co.uk/shop/index.php

he puts them in the OOP and Vintage section. There's one there now.

Lol, sorry about reviving this necro thread. 032239 fins that seem to be in a number of kits, so are these the same fins as in the Raven 2029? I'm trying to play with it in RockSim. TY

I just happen to have revived an old discussion over on the other rocket forum (see link) with regard to this exact issue. Although Estes instructions of that timeframe do not include part numbers, the fin shape and size on Raven 2029 are nearly identical to #032239. In fact, there are quite a few kits that use these fins. Here is a list of kits that have been identified:

1278 Vigilante*
1295 Mean Machine*
1324 Comet*
1429 Thunderbolt*
1955 Ranger*
2029 Raven**
2055 White Tiger**
7215 Stratocruiser*

*Verified from instructions part list
**Physical comparison of kit fins
