Default Two Large R/C rocket glider upscales

Hi all, here are two that I just finished. They are upscales of kits I have produced in 2.6" diameter, but these are one off's just for me using BT-101 tubing and 3-d lightweight printed cones from Scott Binder, most markings from stickershock with some hand cut accents and fine line sharpie detailing. Both have very similar specs, 33-37" wingspan, 56-60" lengths, weights dry 24.5 ounces as shown, with 29mm H-13 longburn motor, add 7.25oz for rtf weight.
Uses 9mm depron sheet for flight surfaces with 1/8" carbon spar reinforcement. Pretty happy with how they turned out. They both use tail surfaces only for roll and pitch like the smaller versions.

First is an Orbital Sciences Pegasus XL Second is an upscale of the Estes Space Transporter America with wing upsized for glide(which looks more proportional to me than the original).

I have a NIB Space Transporter America kit.
Might build it.
I like your upscale.

, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

I never remember seeing that kit in the magazines they only sold it for a year or two so I didn't remember it but I saw it at naram in 2018 as part of the classic scale competition and I really liked the design and markings, and realized if I upscaled the wing it may make a decent glider and actually looks a little bit better proportioned than the rocket version with the tiny stub wings.

Your "regular sized" Space Transporter America looks like it glides about as well as a Manhole Cover or a waxed Cinder Block.
Not enough wing area, perhaps ?

Yes smaller wing on par with my pegasus xl but its not that bad, I was trying to give it proportions that looked pleasing to the eye without being too oversized. Again, these are not sailplanes, they are cool looking rockets that you can steer back to a controlled landing, optimized for ease of construction, light weight and looks, not performance.
