Headed to Goddard Space Flight Center
My job at GSFC got canceled a couple of weeks ago but today I'm actually going to service one of their machines. If I get a chance to see the rocket garden I'll try get some photos.
I asked my sponsor if the rotunda that I saw on Google Earth was the centrifuge "where the astronauts go round and round very fast and throw up". He answered, "yes, and they sometimes do more than that." Cool! I gotta try to get a ride in that THAT thing!

I don't know if the rocket garden rockets have changed any, but when I was there in the early 90s, the ones there had been painted and repainted many, many times and were somewhat in rough shape, all considered. Still worth seeing and maybe they have done some refurbishment on them since those days.
