Maiden flight of the unique "BIG MONZILLA" built and flown by Walter Flögel Wingspan: 1.8m / 70.9" Length: 2m / 78.8" Weight: 10.7 kg / 24 pounds Electric motor: 2xHK4550 300kv on three-blade AG24 L/R 2x controller yge320hv on 16s SLS 5100 speed 2x SM data logger The model is designed for speeds in excess of 300 mph. The speed on the first flight was almost 250mph (still flown throttled). The wing, elevator and rudder are from the HJK Big Monster and have been reinforced with double CFRP. It looks neat, still amazing this isn't half of the record speed for dynamic soaring unpowered gliders

Yes, and that isn't the only model that's flown the last few years. I've seen ones that didn't use leg movement for elevator control, ones with much less detail, etc. I didn't bother to look and see if it was the same modeler or different people's renditions.
