Default First Estes Kit?

Possibly an example of the first Estes kit, a K-1 Scout in a red tube. Bonus in the auction is an unopened red tube of B3 engines.

Not my listing, nor do I know the person listing this material.

Already saw that.
At a reasonable price now. Doubt it will hold.
I wouldn't pay over $100.
Based on that Phantom Electro-Launch sale, it ought to go for about 47 GRAND.

Well, GH, looks like someone liked this kit three and half times more than you. Final selling price was $367.

This one sat for a pretty decent number of days after it was first listed at $.99 cents without any bids at all. While it went for more than I was thinking it would, it is one that rarely comes up on eBay.

The only significance of the Scout to me is that it was the first Estes kit.

First kits from Centuri were more interesting such as the gigantic F-powered Aero Dart.
