I got one YEARS ago that had lost a fin and had the remaining fins relocated to 3fnc orientation. This week I got the urge to make a new fin, break the other off and reorient it to 4fnc. Mine is UGLY, but I plan to fly it on Sunday, just because. I had a pretty clone, but that one was 18mm powered and drifted north on a C6-7.

I was going to guess a Maxi V2.

I have one to assemble, someday... I had one as a kid, similar story to Bill's, last seen drifting north over a hill, far, far away.

Looking forward to seeing yours.

Hey, I was a card carrying member of that same club when I was a kid ... I built the worst looking EAC Viper ever to slide down a launch rod. I lost it after just a few flights at the University of New Orleans outdoor practice field in New Orleans. It drifted in the direction of Lake Pontchartrain never to be seen again.

I wish I still had it [even if it was kinda ugly]

Our neighborhood gang was in the EAC. My Mother wasn't impressed when she caught me using her iron to "ruin" one of my shirts.

A new category, maybe — Rat Rocket? I’ve always been fascinated with Rat Rods.
