Patriot Pro Series
Does anyone have the plans to the Patriot PRO series? The 4-engine cluster...I want to build it, but I want to make sure I get the correct dimension for it. I looked on YORP, but no luck...
Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.... |

Some of them are PDFs, however most plans on the site were originally stored as TIF files. To print them at their correct size, you usually need another program such as IrfanView. Keep in mind that Estes used a non-standard 3" tube instead of the 3" diameter from LOC/PML et al. You could kitbash a few Big Daddy kits to get the necessary airframe parts. The tubing was also used in the NCR by Estes 3" kits.

Right. And the Big Daddy's nose cone is the same.

http://www.balsamachining.com/catalog.htm T300-34 is the tube. C300-6 is the coupler. They have the cluster motor rings, too: M4T50300-W . Also, at the bottom of the page, they offer pre-slotted tubes. Doug .

I have the pattern and the cardstock for the boat tail if you need it.
Good luck finding the yellow-chrome wrap and the aluminum rear disk, though. Hence:

First time posting here. My brother & I are working on a clone of the old Patriot Pro Series. From digging around here and other forums, we've found most of the parts we need (nose cone from a big daddy kit, tube, engine tubes & mounting rings from balsa machining, etc.) One thing we haven't been able to determine, though, is the length of the two main body tubes that were included in the original kit. Does anyone know the lengths of those tubes? Want to make sure we get the length correct. Thanks in advance!
