I posted the picture elsewhere, but here is my 2-stage liftoff on a B14. I did the same thing, I grabbed a frame from Jesse’s video. For many flights, not just a B14, video may be the only way to get that liftoff shot.

I don’t believe so, but maybe Ed will confirm. I’ve never seen him at a CRASH launch in Denver, and he lives not too far from the club’s launch site near Red Rocks Park.

Jesse Ulibarri, who took a lot of pictures at the launch, only posts on the rocketry groups on Facebook. He and I fly together at CRASH and SCORE in Pueblo (NARAM-60 site).

Jim is sort of a legend around Ohio. I don't know him personally, but flying a cluster of B14s fits his rep.

Nice launch report btw.

Nice B14-0 launch pic.
Now THAT'S a flame !
Not quite like a F100 (when they didn't cato), but impressive for an 18mm engine.
I have flown plenty of B14's but have never captured any on film/video.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

I don't believe Jim Gazur does much posting on the forums. I know he became a member of S.C.O.R.E. last year and travels to Pueblo periodically to fly there. I went with him to a S.C.O.R.E. launch last June.
There are some pics in my blog post from that launch.
