I used the Nike Tomahawk-12 I for my built. Thanks so much!

Also, I grew up between Springport and Parma and I’m sure I saw your group doing demos at the MI Space Center at JCC.

Which dates me, I’m sure.

Nice scale article. A nuclear Phoenix would have been far more effective given this missile was no more accurate than a standard AIM-4 Falcon.

The AIM-4 Falcon was literally and accurately described by Col. Robin Olds as a "Piece Of $#1*" !
He forced the USAF to rapidly adapt their F-4s to use the USN Sidewinders.

ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

In the article Chris Timm and I wrote on the GAR-1/AIM-4 I cover the Falcon's poor performance in SE Asia. There were valid reasons for some of issues, but much of it had to do with the technology of the day. That article is in this issue, http://cv41.org/newsletters/V17I4.pdf

Interesting, I just read your memoir of working at THOY. I have a Macron that's awaiting a chance to fly at our next club launch and a cloned Wren that I pulled out to repaint today. One is shown in your text and the other is the Sport Plan for that issue.
