Flight Systems conversion kits
Hello, I'd like to know, can FSI kits be converted to either 24 or 29mm motors? And if so, are there conversion kits available or do they need to be built up from scratch? And if that's the case, who would have the parts?I may have found a source for some of them unbuilt so I would like to know it if it can be done. Can anyone help out with this?

Sure!
For kits that have already been built, all you need to fly on 24mm is a 29mm to 24mm adapter and just shave a little off the centering rings to get it to fit the 27mm motor tube. You can't fly it on 29mm motors if it's already been built without tearing into it. For kits that haven't been built, you can sub a 29mm or 24mm motor tube while building and either make or buy centering rings to build it with. It's the same situation for the 22mm models. You can use an adapter to fly them on 18mm motors, but you can't go up to 24mm without tearing into them. If they are still in kit form, just sub in a 24mm motor tube and corresponding CR's. I make my own parts, so some of the other guys can jump in and tell you if and where you can get custom sized stuff.
