Exclamation New Patterns -- Firebird (2007)

Here's a fin sheet using 0.07" matteboard, for the 2007 Firebird design. You can find the master RKT file in the "Scrounged" thread HERE.

I really, really like this design and am planning on building it soon as I can get some free time

Have you thought about making it a two-stager?

Two-stage Firebird?

Haven't thought about that version. I might look into the possibility, though. More flame fins...

Actually, I was thinking more on the lines of having the ring part fall away as the booster and the finned part stay as the sustainer. But now I see how the fins are connected to the rings so that wouldn't work too well. I might play with it too. It is a great design and I am looking forward to building it!
