Received my AC Supply order via UPS at 11:59 AM local time.

One Saturn V Skylab, one Saturn 1B and and about eight other kits.

My Saturn 1b date, imprinted on the back bottom right of the box, is 7-24-20. Anyone else similar? So, almost five months from manufacture to customer's hands. I guess that 'slow boat from China' really is a slow boat from China.

I have opened the 1b. Nice looking components, though I have not opened the individual parts bags and all.

Earl

Edit: To verify and confirm date location on package.

7-24-20 production and not to customers until now is a RIDICULOUSLY LONG time lag.
Bring the production back HERE in the USA where it BELONGS.

Default Busted!!

"The Vixen" came home from shopping and caught us together. I tried to tell her, "it's not what it looks like!"

......but it is, and she knows it.

Sounds like the could have gotten the 1B out a lot sooner than they did.
Possibly wanting to wait until holiday season ?

Don't they have to give up production samples for testing? (Remember the white parachutes?) Testing could have been delayed due to covid shutdowns, etc. assuming the shipments themselves weren't delayed.
