Default Estes Mark II 1202

Mark II decal.

This pattern first appeared in Estes 1973 catalog and remained unchanged through 1984.

Included is the decal scaled up to Super Mark II (BT-50) size.

Wolf,

I was going to ask you if you had added any additional graphics when you did your Super Mark II. Now I don't need to.

Super Mark II is in need of refinishing after the orange spray paint came out in chunks and marred the finish.

Wolf,

What brand was it? Was it a fresh can?

Must not have been Allis Chalmers orange or it would have been perfect according to Doug in the old rocket list.

I hate it for you. It's one of those deals where as soon as you shot it, you knew you should have done a test shot on some scrap cardboard. I'm guilty as well.

I did test it first. Have a can of Valspar "gloss island orange" spray paint that's a few years old. This was a "known good." I shook the hell out of it and tested it on cardboard. The color was a pretty close match to the Astron Mark in the Estes 1971-1972 catalogs. The very next shot on the Super Mark II came out like sandpaper. I'm not too upset.
