Default Another Glue Post

Just tried this new glue from Gorilla, basically it is a PVA Type II just like Titebond II but it dries clear not yellow. So far I am impressed with the Glue and it does dry clear.

Titebond is aliphatic resin, not PVA.
Elmer's White Glue is PVA.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL

Titebond Original is a PVA with modifications and so that is why it is an Aliphatic. The cross linking is to prevent the slippage of wood pieces when glued together, but at the end of the day it is a PVA. Titebond 2 is a PVA not aliphatic but holds up better when exposed to water. The only Alphatic glues that dry clear that I am aware of is Roo Glue and Titebond Speed Set.

And they all have extra stuff in them other than PVA. Slime made using glue is nowhere near as cool as slime made with straight PVA, but you need a stirring hotplate or a really patient person to stir it.

Have you done a strength test with it yet? Even Elmers, if used correctly, will hold more than wood when tested.

I have, and it is stronger than the wood. All PVA glues are good except the school glues.
