Default NARAM-4 Program -- 1962

Attached below is a scan of the program from NARAM-4 in August, 1962 at the Air Force Academy. I was about two weeks old at the start of this event!

I picked this up some 5-6 years ago but had never scanned it. It's in kinda rough shape and it appears that it was probably carried around all day by a spectator (or participant) at the event and folded over a few times. But, it is certainly still readable.

Interesting to note in the schedule of events that 'F Scale Altitude' was one of the events flown. I wonder how many participants they had in that event in 1962?

Interesting to note too in the list of donating vendors that Centuri got credited as "Century". Also, that the area they were flying from there at the Academy was called the "Red Sands Model Range". I wonder if that area is still designated by that name?

Thank you for posting the scan. Very interesting historical document. My first NARAM was #11 in 1969, also at the Air Force Academy.

They probably had more than a few, as Coasters were readily available since 1958. 1962 was actually probably one of Coaster's better years......

Attached are several color photos from NARAM-4 taken by Gordon Mandell. I don't think he will mind me posting them for everybody to enjoy.
