Default Octavius & Illusion

Interesting....just noticed that these are exactly the same kit, yet different colors and one is MSRP priced $3 more (maybe red is in more demaind ?) . Interesting nose cone and the kits could make for decent beater rockets to fly.

I noticed that when the 2020 catalog came out. As I noticed back then, there was a slight difference in overall height. I just looked up both kits.

The Octavius is 0.7" taller than the Illusion, and it is cheaper!

I wonder if they are intended for different markets. I saw them both today in a HobbyTown USA store...one bagged, one boxed. But there they were....

Obviously. One is meant to be flown in a city above the clouds while the other is meant to be flown on virgin pasture.
If I pick one of these up, it will be for the nose cone. Kinda remind me of the Space Racer. Never really got that design either. (Now that I think of it, I bought the Space Racer for the nose cone.)
