TB,
Just remember that your dog is a true Alpha dog (no pun).
He must know your are the Alpha Dad. Working dogs very often are like that.
Good luck! Beautiful boy!

He has been trained well, thankfully. The only time I've had to raise my voice more than a light conversational tone is when he is mesmerized by the cat. He ignores Katie's dog (small Aussie). He is interested in the deer, but hasn't took off chasing any yet and it's been easy to get his attention back. He's interested in our cattle, but not as interested as they are of him. lol

The real training has been for me so far.
He has taught me to never play fetch with him until after he pees at least twice or he will pee on the ball.

He has taught me that Belgians crave companionship. He wants physical contact when we are just lounging, usually a paw or hip on my foot is plenty. There is some serious separation anxiety when I go to work.

He has taught me that not all dogs are 1000% consumed by the thought of food. He doesn't wolf it all down at once like every other dog I've had. He's happy to go play or explore and leave most if not all of it in the bowl.

He has taught me not to let anybody say the word "outside" when I am between him and the door. Thank goodness he only weighs 75 lbs.

He learned to get in the bed of my truck this week. I learned he loves to ride. When I was feeding the cattle today, he tried his best to get on the tractor with me and was not happy that I wouldn't let him.
