Default wayne Skyhawks 4H Club 1971 - 1975 VIDEO

Here is a TV Commercial that my 4H model rocketry club participated in for the Hobby Indfustry Of America . It was shown on TV four times and received a bronze medal in competition.

I'm there in my green 4H shirt with my maxi V2 and clips from my Omega/Cineroc

Cool! Thanks for posting it.

I saw at least two Enerjet Aero-Dart models in the film.

Ken, that is fantastic stuff! I love watching these kind of movies

Do you still have the models that were in the film segment?

Hello Leo

Yes, I still have the models that were mine which included the Maxi V2, Omega/Cineroc and the Red Max sitting on the table.

Also, the launch pad is an Estes multi pad, they only made 100, I have only been able to track down one other in Ohio.

This video is around 1973.

Our club, Wayne Skyhawks was based in Passaic County Wayne NJ. Was around from 1971 until 1975 with 25 very active members.

George Wagner , an officer of the club was kind enough to get this posted on YouTube and hopefully on Facebook.

Since 1975 when the club disbanded I ran into George at NARAM 50 in Manassas VA and another former member Charles "Chuck" Mund.

George and I got together last week for lunch to talk rockets.

Great video RD! That's a real nice Maxi-V2 also!
