Flown this particular model twice (so far); the first on an E9-4 (pictured) at the Gulf Coast Regional Meet (JSC, late 2004), and the second on the E30-4T at McGregor, TX (TX State Championship). Believe it or not, the E9-4 gave it a pretty good flight, but the E30-4T was a big mistake. Model was still traveling at a high rate of speed when the ejection fired, ripping the payload/nose section (with the shockcord & parachute) from the main body (with a very ugly zipper). The main body section glided down while the nose & payload section floated away (never to be found). Carl at SEMROC came to my rescue and provided the replacement parts so as to allow me to rebuild this beautiful model (what you see in the first picture; the other three are that of the original FSI Black Brant - II. The next time I fly it, it'll be on the E30-7T.....
