Default RockSim Components

I'm going to start this thread with a rendition of the Ping Pong Ball. The specs follow the general information we've seen already. I'm calling for a 0.002" thick wall on a two-piece sphere 1.566" in diameter. If anyone has better information, especially on the wall thickness, feel free to alter this file and re-post it.

Default SEMROC BC-760 Nose Cone

Here's one that has been put to use since it was introduced in 2006. It is made in three pieces -- the forward ogive, a center, and the aft transition. The center section is useful for referencing the launch lugs from, as it positions them outward at the correct distance to clear the bulge.

Default Fliskits BT-70 Engine Mounts (24mm)

Fliskits has a great selection of engine mount kits for BT-70 size models.

Here are a couple of the 24mm motor size mounts.

Enjoy and let me know what you think!

... Bill

P.S. You need to remove ".txt" from sub-assembly filenames as ".rsa" files can not be directly posted to forum.

It's also possible to open two instances of RockSim, and copy-n-paste from one to the other.

This has now been remedied. You can now post .rsa files directly.

Thanks Scott !! This will make posting sub-assembly files much easier going forward.
