I gotta say it seems our collective testosterone levels must be dropping. I think this is the first reference or pull back of anything ‘hot female’ in quite some time. Either that, or we have started taking our rockets WAY too serious.

I haven't seen much new sci-fi out there. Makes it hard to add anything.

I was attending the San Diego Comic-Com every year in the early 2000s.

One year I went to a panel early on a Thursday morning. The 'good stuff' is reserved for Saturdays so being a Thursday panel means the presentation isn't going to be the best known.

Anyway, this panel was for some Indie SciFi movie which I recall ended up going direct to video/DVD.

There was not much of a waiting line to get into the room, which was one of the smaller panel rooms.

So I took a seat and waited for the show to start.

About two minutes before the panel began this tall, attractive blonde in a skirt walked through the entrance door and proceeded to the back wall where she tried to make herself invisible. She did a good job because no-one spoke to her.

A few minutes later the panel started. Up on the stage the producer, director and marketing guy started talking about their project.

Yawn.

After about ten minutes one of them says:

"That's a question Chase could answer. Chase Masterson are you here in the room?"

Yup. She was the blonde.

Masterson went up to the stage and took a seat. She discussed her roll in the film and answered some questions from the audience.

It must have been a contractual clause because as soon as the panel was over she was out the door and gone.

Probably posted earlier but I didn't feel like going through all 13 pages.

Watching Star Trek now and The Gamesters of Triskelion is on. Who can forget Angelique Pettyjohn?

I can't find it on this laptop, but there was a meme of Kirk holding Pettyjohn in the silver suit and the caption was something like it looks like Jiffy Pop tonight. Youngsters will not have a reference.

From a more recent TV show: Shiny.

SOME women have aged very well.
Kathy Ireland, Christie Brinkley, Courtney Thorne-Smith, and Heather Locklear have.
I however don't think they have been in any Sci-Fi flicks or series.
