Default Estes Wasp #1930

This kit was one of three ESTES kits to use the PNC-55D nose cone.

The first was the Sea dart (1983-1984) We still need to get plans for this bird.

Next it was put atop this rocket, which was produced from 1984-1985.

Lastly, after lying dormant for 4 years, this mold was then used to make the cones for the infamous Strike Fighter (1989-1993).

Do the molds wear out, or do they get broken? I wish the ESTES of today manufactured a more diverse array of nose cones.

A special thanks to an ebayer who won this kit and was very kind to provide me with scans!!!!
