Ron White is an absolute RIOT and my all-time favorite stand-up act.
He constantly drinks good Scotch AND Smokes during his entire stage act, which I consider a "70's style" BONUS instead of current "Mamby-Pamby Town" we have in virtually all society now.

Ron White is more hilarious than a good Toilet/Stink Prank or POWR-PRANGG in my book.
That's TOP BILLING.

I can't comment on my opinion of VANDAL-ACTION.
I do not want to violate Scott's rules.

Never been to the Wisconsin Dells, but I live in a state surrounded by Great Lakes that has incredible "Up North" destinations for summer vacationing.
Usually if we leave Michigan, we head toward something tropical, with Florida being minimum.
Joanna and I are NOT "wilderness" type people, no matter how often my brother tries dragging us to some HELLISH destination we have ZERO interest in (Such as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan). We call "camping" staying in an RV on the beach of Lake Huron with Cable TV and A/C. That's as CLOSE to "roughing it" as we get and have no intent of vacationing with LESS than the comforts of home. That would be a major PAIN IN THE BUTT, not a vacation.

I have been to Michigan's U.P. ONCE since 1982 and that was FAR TOO OFTEN. Yuck.
I need to get some circle/slash decals with "906" in the center. 906 is the area code for the entire upper peninsula of Michigan.

The Michigan Upper Peninsula has just slightly more value than a Bowling Ball in A Swimming Pool. It is loaded with PRISONS. Major criminals from urban areas are sent there AWAYYYYY from most of civilization where they belong.

A buddy of mine moved to Mohawk in the Upper Peninsula last year when he retired.
Mohawk Michigan is way over in the Keewenaw Peninsula on far North-West upper peninsula.
I told him he was out of his mind. He spends 7-8 months a year traveling in an RV, so is only there ~4months so it is tolerable. WAYYYYY too out in the "Boondocks" for me.

About the only good thing about the Michigan upper peninsula is the low population density.
This allows most to do whatever they please on their own property without busy-body neighbors butting-their-snoots-in where they don't belong.
If one wants to have 37 junk cars on a lake property with a mansion, you can for the most part.
If you don't OWN the property, it's NUNYA BIZZNUSS.

Both.
Tropics (Florida) as snowbirds 6-7mos of the year and Michigan 5-6mos.
We both HATE SNOW/Winter in the Northern USA.
We will most likely keep Michigan residency instead of Florida.
She is a lot closer to retirement than I am.
I will be working another 10 years to build that nest egg.
She is probably done in 3-4 yrs.

Keep a Florida residency and avoid Michigan state taxes on your retirement.

Will have to look into what is cheapest overall.
I know license plate fees in Florida are a lot higher.
No taxes on retirement income most likely would offset that by many times.
