Default Mid South Rocketry Sport Launch at Shelby Farms

Day started with a Level Two launch that was part of a Vanderbilt University class project. Interesting project. Class drove over 200 miles for the launch here. L motor. Heck of a class project. Reached an altitude of 3788 feet.

Payload landed on four "Mars Lander" style legs. Once the computer sensed ground contact, it released the parachute to keep it from dragging the payload across the ground. Then it proceeded to level itself using servos in the legs. Once level, it proceeded to take pictures to create a panorama of the landing area.
